5:45am on a Holiday?!
I know, right? That's what I was thinking when I woke up to get on the trails on Labor Day. We started further up the trail in order to get to the border of Wisconsin by 10am, but our ride was cut short in Gurnee when it started absolutely downpouring. We rode 24 miles Monday and my sister, dad and I rode about 13 on Sunday to navigate more of the trails we'll be taking this coming weekend on "the" ride.

Windy windy path - they're revamping the routes though in coming years
The trail takes some weird turns and we were riding along Par King! I wanted to go golf
We had some pedal issues that set us back a while as well
