40 (.2!) Miles Today, North to the Botanic Gardens and Back

"Only" 40.2 miles today for training. It was very hot. There were a lot of people out on the trail, at the gardens and in the forest preserves having parties and enjoying our parks and open lands.

I'm tired and I need to get up to go to work tomorrow. So here a few photos for this lame post.

Also, a new little guideline/motto to remember about planting trees:
"If it's too high, it will never die; if it's too low, it will never grow!"
At the Chicago Botanic Gardens

The final total tonight: 40.2 miles
A very busy boat launch on a very active day out in the preserves!
 Lots of boaters today!
